The Swiss Business Hub Japan is located within the Embassy of Switzerland in Tokyo. Its objective is to develop and strengthen business relations between Swiss / Liechtenstein based companies and Japanese firms. The Swiss Business Hub Japan consists of three teams, Export Promotion, Investment Promotion and Swiss Learning.
The Swiss Business Hub Japan, Export Promotion offers Swiss / Liechtenstein companies;
- Information on the Japanese market, market research and analysis
- Reports on business opportunities in relevant industry sectors
- Active support for identification of qualified business partners
- Buisiness meeting arrangements with Japanese companies
- Reports on trade fairs and other promotional activities
- Organization of trade fair participation and events in Japan

As a solution provider, the Swiss Busienss Hub Japan offers Swiss/Liechtensetin exporters customized consulting services step by step. Fees vary depending upon scope of work designed to meet the individual needs of the exporting company. General basic information is provided free of charge.

Switzerland. Trade & Investment Promotion (STIP) opens doors for Japanese companies to Switzerland and the European market. By working closely with a number of different partners from the private business community and the network of cantonal economic development agencies, STIP assists Japanese companies setting up business in Switzerland in the following activities:
- Finding the ideal location in Switzerland
- Making contact with regional and cantonal economic development offices
- Meeting legal and administrative requirements
- Working together with research centers and universities
- Entering into partnerships with Swiss companies in the same sector
- Procuring work and residence permits
- Defining the ideal corporate structure and learning about the Swiss tax system

Swiss Learning represents a group of prestigious Swiss boarding schools promoting the excellence of the Swiss education in the world. Swiss Learning Japan at the Embassy of Switzerland in Tokyo (as a public-private partnership overseas) pursues two objectives;
- Promoting the excellence of Swiss boarding schools in Japan providing information to parents considering Swiss boarding schools as an option of their children’s education; and
- Maintaining the link between the former students and Switzerland by organizing alumni reunions and other events.
Swiss Learning offers the following services;
- Information on Swiss boarding schools
- Individual consulting to prospective parents and students
- Public presentations about Swiss boarding schools
- Alumni reunions of Swiss schools on a regular basis
